Frank Hill, the managing director at Hill Gilstrap, P.C., began his career as a Justice Department lawyer in Washington, D.C. His experience at the Justice Department established a foundation for litigating the most sophisticated disputes. Upon moving to Texas, Frank began litigating cases in both State and Federal Courts and his superior attorney skills have brought his client’s victory after victory. Mr. Hill has been designated a Super Lawyer by attaining a high degree of peer recognition and decades of professional achievement.

M. Scott Stooksberry, a senior counsel at Hill Gilstrap, P.C., is an AV® rated attorney with over 25 years of private law firm experience representing a diverse client base that has included large and small companies, trucking and logistics, one of the largest vehicle leasing companies in the U.S., a public school district, private schools, corporate executives, and individual business entrepreneurs involved in a variety of industries (i.e., trucking, vehicle leasing, foundation repair, extended consumer warranty, healthcare, real estate, finance, hospitality, manufacturing, and education) in connection with business and real estate transactions, and business litigation.
Mr. Stooksberry has been the lead transactional attorney for the law firm since 2001. He has extensive experience in complex business transactions as well as business litigation. His experience in business litigation, allows him to anticipate complications that might arise in any complex transaction. “Realizing the different perspectives allows us to create a clear, accurate contract that will prevent litigation or mitigate the risks of future litigation.”
He has been lead counsel on numerous multi-million dollar transactions and he has been a key member of the litigation team for numerous cases resulting in verdicts, judgments, or settlements in excess of one million dollars (including one of the top 100 verdicts in Texas in 2019). Mr. Stooksberry graduated from Texas A&M University, with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Management), and the University of Texas School of Law, with a J.D.

Anne Michels, is of counsel to Hill Gilstrap, P.C. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas and her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center. She is a long time Arlington resident and has practiced law at Hill Gilstrap for more than twenty-five years. For approximately ten years however she lived and practiced law in the Washington D.C. area becoming licensed in both Maryland and Washington D.C. During this time, she was part of team that coordinated discovery nationwide for a large corporation with asbestos litigation. Current areas of practice: commercial litigation, employment law, and constitutional law.

Stefanie Klein is of counsel to Hill Gilstrap, P.C., where she has spent decades helping business clients avoid, resolve, litigate, and arbitrate disputes. For individual clients, she has taken on lenders, builders, municipalities, public employers, and private universities. She has won the loyalty of long-time clients by her commitment to hearing their needs and achieving their goals.
